Abstract

This article analyses Ibargüengoitia’ s novels and crhronicles and his transsgressor visionof national history and its heroes. This author takes the Independence movement andMexican Revolution in an intertextual game with generals memories, text books and his familiar biography. From theory and critic in this essay it takes concepts like humour, irony, farce and parody to mark his original work among Mexican narrative.
