Gustavo Illades (2022), La “ecuación voz-escritura” en las letras hispánicas (del Cantar de Mio Cid al Quijote y el Persiles), Zaragoza, Libros Pórtico, 326 p.
Abstract
In Zaragoza, in 2022, Gustavo Illades Aguiar’s book was published, which is reviewed here for the specialist in the field, for whom Illades is always essential reading, as well as for students and researchers in the linguistic sciences interested in literature. Starting from the problem of the ambiguity of the terms that express orality when referring to rather complex phenomena related to the dissemination and reception of literary texts, which hinders the perception of the appropriate re-semanticization of the performative markers that refer to verbal creation, Illades develops a theoretical-methodological proposal, which he calls the "voice-writing equation," oriented towards the "decoding of performative discourse" (302), since, as he affirms, from the Cantar de Mio Cid to Calderonian theater, literary production is framed within the "voice-writing equation."Downloads
