Juan Manuel Vargas, primer poeta modernista

Abstract

Article underlines the importance, in the context of literary history, recent Agustín F. Cuenca poems written together collectively with Juan de Dios Peza, Manuel Eduardo Rincón and Manuel José Othón under the pseudonym of Juan Manuel Vargas as announcement of Modernism. This experience could be an announcement, quite early, of occurrence of literary Modernism.
