Una lectura dialógica del “Monólogo de Magda”, de Manuel Gutiérrez Nájera

Abstract

In this article, the author applies fundamental concepts of the Theory developed by Mikhail Bakhtin, known as dialogism, to a singular narrative piece of the influential mexican writer Manuel Gutiérrez Nájera. Under that scope he reviews the dialogic relations, settled by the latter, among his characters (as well.as various kind of discourses involved: internal dialogue, double-voiced word, hidden polemic, microdialogue).Furthermore, he examines the relationship, set by the writer, between the narrator and the characters, fundamental issue of the concerned theory, yielding with that to an interpretation of the aesthetic intention, in this work, of the flamboyant mexican witer.
