Fortunas y adversidades de la autoría del lazarillo de Tormes y la postura de Rosa Navarro Durán

Abstract

The name of the author of Lazarillo de Tormes has remained a mystery for centuries in spite of the efforts of the scholars. Recently, the works of Rosa Navarro Durán (declaring Alfonso de Valdés as author) have reactivated the authorship issue. This article presents a state of affairs, followed by a critical analysis of Navarro Durán’s stand.
