Abstract

Taking as base the correspondance of Ricardo Palma, the peruvian writer of the Traditions, the article tries to makes an analysis of the letters and the information that they contain so his content reveals aspects of his life and his intellectual path and his labor as director of the National Library of Peru Likewise, it allows to know the relation that Palma had with prominent figures of this time.
