Montoro y la risa subversiva

Abstract

In this work we make an analysis on the mechanisms of laughter on the lyrics of “Obras de burlas” of the Cancionero general. Particularly focuses on the subversive role that laughter plays in a poem written by Antón de Montoro. The analysis is framed within the historical and social context of the age and the significant tensions between jews, conversos and christians.
